Last of 09   Brass Caps.... faces... from 18th dynasty egypt.

Here are some of the beads I have made so far this year.

  A string of  beads each with metal caps some with Dolphins the use

 of orange glaze and black glass on ivory  then slumped and rolled is shown on

 Face beads ....the quest for self made faces continues

you never know quite what you got untill final product.

 Inspired by northern art   

 Rock found on beach  I thought  

I could make a face in there.Next I took the best of the faces and stuck it into new clay then tooled the features

to produce second generation face   shown below.
