Rocks, Glass and Brass

Rocks with natural holes going through them have attracted my attention since collecting fossils in public school gr.7 Mr. Steeper's class. In the late 70's I made my first rock mobile while taking an art class at college, branches, string and rocks with holes. While making a few over the years I began to use store bought beads and brass wire in the construction. My friend Amanda told me about hand made glass beads. I took the course at a local business "The Glass Smith" and continue to make my own beads for the mobiles. see photo album- mobiles -
